We are thrilled to announce our strategic partnership with NovaCina, a leading Western Australian-based contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO).

Reliis’ partnership with NovaCina offers numerous benefits. Their world-class manufacturing facility specialises in sterile injectables and is conveniently located in WA’s Tech Park in Bentley. With a long history in commercial manufacturing at this site, NovaCina has also recognised the growing demand for smaller-scale production to support clinical trials. Therefore, NovaCina’s expertise and scale-up capacity align perfectly with our needs. This partnership enables Reliis to navigate seamlessly from R&D development through pilot batch manufacturing and validation to small-scale production for clinical trials and then to commercial manufacturing. All these stages can be achieved while capturing the documentation required for regulatory filing in a streamlined fashion. This collaboration eliminates the need for tech transfer or switching manufacturers, providing us with confidence and ensuring a smooth journey from concept to commercialisation—a success story for WA.

Reliis’ team (pictured) visited NovaCina to explore the Cytiva SA25 robotic isolator, which enables sterile filling technology without human interaction. This technology will form a crucial component in the manufacturing process of Reliis’ injectable delirium treatment.
